EE by trade I design embedded software and hardware. My two daughters (22 & 19) don't have much interest in my hobbies.
Please tell us a bit about your UAV interest
I fly helis quads and plane for fun. So next logical step is UAV
I do construct test and fly Quad and hexacopter from scratch.
Use APM 2.6 and 3.1.X copter software. Use Mission planner but will switch shortly to Pixhawk I think.
