"  sonar is accurate to within a few cm while the barometer is only accurate to within a few feet. I would suggest getting a sonar but that may not be the actual problem."

RTL and Land

Greetings, Yesterday I preformed my first successfully autonomous flight with my quad. Take off and loiter worked well (loiter alot more so then take off) however once it came to RTL and Land the quad seemed to rebel. Now it seemed like the quad was actually "learning"... every time I told it to loiter or rand the mission script ( take off, loiter, rtl, land) it did better ( first take off it shot straight up way past the 5m but second time it held the 5 m) but RTL and Land never got executed.…See More

No longer works after adding magnetometer and gps

Hey guys I had the apm acting as a stabalizer with out the magnetometer or gps connected and it flew wonderfully. I just received the magnetometer and gps in the mail and connected them as per the manual.. I then reset the apm using the apm setup. however nothing is working every other time I will get a "set sysid_sw_mrev failed" error. I cant configure the radio, or even level the quad... Help?See More

"Jeff: those are indeed very funky values. Most transmitters will output ~1000  to ~2000. Do you have your in some weird mode? It shouldn't be in any heli mode, and you can turn expo off. Obviously you don't want any mixing,…"

"Connect to the apm in cli mode. go to test, then type radio. Numbers should start flowing. Move yaw stick all the way from left to right and back. The number in the 4th column should change from -4500 to 4500.  If it doesn't your radio is…"
