Read more…How do range finders handle trees? I have processed a lot of data from manned aircraft with laser altimeters and these often record first and last returns (reflections). The first reflection is of course the tree canopy, and the last is the ground.

Read more…I have split the GPS signal wire from the GPS to the pixhawk to feed the pixhawk GPS port and an external custom sensor.
I am about to split it again to support the arkbird antenna tracker air module that requires the GPS signal also.

After a crash and identified ESC fault All ESC have been replaced on the Octo.
The replacement ESC are Opto so the pixhawk is being powered purely by the pixhawk power module.
