I have done several searches on this subject, and it seems their is some conflicting information.
Currently I have a Pixhawk running what I think is the latest firmware, and trying to set up the minim osd. When I initially connected the 3dr radio to t
Guys i need a little help on this as I am having a little trouble finding the right answer in the search. All of the videos on compass motor calibration say go to terminal. In the mission planner 1.3.5 i see no terminal in the normal location. On
I found an additional port on Pixhawk board scheme and came up with idea to connect a higher performance IMU (mostly accel and gyro) to autopilot in terms of my master thesis. My budget allows me to buy the system below 200$.
I am having some issues with my new ground control set up and I think it might have to do with the fact I'm using and older APM 2.5 with arduplane 2.72 firmware. That is a new Mac so must run APM Planner. I like it but it doesn't seem to work %100 ri
I'm currently running a APM 2.5+ board on a skywalker 1880. Due to tightly packed electronics, occasionally the compass will give out bad reading and the "BAD Compass Health" warning will show on mission planner's HUD. Despite the error, the plane st
The latest firmware has a new feature that's suppose to make this possible but the documentation is not yet available. Has anyone been able to figure it out?
I have an airplane that's setup with dual differential ailerons using transmitter differenti
We are having temperatures here as high as 45°C and lows around 28°C. This makes me wonder about what's the high temperature threshold of APM & Pixhawk or any other FCs like naza or multiWii?
Will it be safe for FC, ESC and motor to fly in such hot
I apologize in advance if this question has an obvious solution, but I'm stumped. I wired up my APM 2.5 with a Bixler 2 for the first time this morning and have been trying to learn my way around the technology on the bench. My problem is
I'm not sure if this may have been asked before but has anyone had any problems with the range of their 2.4Ghz equipment through the use of a 5.8Ghz video transmitter? I was out over the weekend and noticed my plane seemed to have lost it's signal
I do research with drones and have worked with them for over a year now. I have worked with a mikrokopter (hexa) and a arducopter (hexa) both owned by the university. I would like to build my own and I'm looking for suggestions from people used to de
I have a fairly large quad (4s, 5000, 13" props, APM2.5, V3.2-rc2). I have it well tuned and very smooth for Stable and Loiter modes. The problem is in Auto mode only. During climbs and transitions from one WP to another it twitches in pitch and roll
I have built an octaquad and am using AC3.1.5. I am also using a servo operated stabilized camera mount and (using A11 & A10). I wanted to use the camera shutter servo, but all 8 of the RC outputs are used on our APM 2.6.
I'm researching into my first quad. One thing that is very improtant for me is the autopilot capacity (will be used for research). I was set on the 3DR X8, when I saw the Turbo Ace Matrix. It seems to check all the boxes...except for the
I have been using a Power Module with my APM 2.6 in both my quad and my hex since I built them. But it seems they have never been configured correctly. What I don't understand is when my battery gets low I get the warning that says battery at XX.Xvol
With everything updated firmware and MP (arduplane) now I'm geting this error when I try to geotag the pictures via TIME OFFSET. I've done this many times and never had this error before.

Does anyone know why my 9x is doing this? It seems when I move the (mode 2) Elev/Ail stick right or forward it works fine. But when I move the same stick left or down 20% it wants to do the opposite. Further than 20% and it works normally.
