I'm using a Attopilot 45A sensor with a Pixhawk and 6S batts. The problem is that a) the voltage reading is way off using the Attopilot 45A presets and b) once the voltage stabilizes it doesn't change again, like it's stuck.
I've just received an order from Hobby King which they totally cocked up and was hoping for some advice. The main issue is that they have shipped a mode 1 transmitter, when I ordered mode 2 (Turnigy 5X). The transmitter seems to be switchable between
I would appreciate if someone can tell me what went wrong. We had a successfuly waypoint test last week. On Monday, we did another test at higher altitude, 200 m, and longer distance on Align's flying field at riverbank. The flight was normal at firs
I've read various reports over time that 'auto land' is (or was not so long ago) pretty fragile. Is that still the case? Can it yet make use of a proximity sensor to aid landing? If not, is there much work involved in improving this?
Can you help me about download on Mision Planer. I can not download the Quadrocopter or hexacopter to hardware APM 2.6 from computer..I wait many time whan it is dedecting...How can I solve
In AP HIL v3.02 and 3.03, as soon as X-Plane starts sending packets, all servo outputs go to 1.0. Also, the mode stays on INITIALIZING. Disabling X-plane packet transmissions brings the servo outputs back to normal.
I got my 3DR 2014 RTF Quad a couple months ago and have been flying/crashing it ever since. :-)
My first logs, sans prop balancing, showed high vibrations (so much for "RTF"). In hindsight, that was probably expected since I didn't balance the props.
My FPV speedster. 1.1 m span. 3D printed parts include wing to boom connectors, Fin and tailplane to boom connectors, motor mount and camera mount... APM2.5 autopilot
I see Mission Planner now has range rings around airports on the flight planning maps. I think it is a good idea for the less brilliant among us to be reminded of where they are flying. For those of us who are smart and responsible, we can turn them
What is the proper method to limit the control throws in Arduplane?
I'm using APM in a plane with large control throws. I use 3 rates on my transmitter, flying normally in mid or low, and leaving high for extreme aerobatics.
My name is Justin and I wanted to explore the idea of using different motors, other then your standard sizes, in helicopters for fpv and surveying. My thought is that in general traditional helis are intended to be serious 3D machines
Here's a good video with lots of tips. After seeing lots of people having similar issues this is a good reminder to help you remember important steps when building a multirotor. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lw6an0M_25Q
I seem to have had this issue before, but can not remember what I did to fix it. I load the new firmware on 3.1.4 and everything is fine to I get to compass calibration. I have turned that quad everyway possible and have hit over 6000 samples but it
When I have my Mini-OSD connected to my APM, the Mavlink Heartbeat is pulsing, the 12V passthrough is working and powering the 3DR camera... But for whatever reason there is no video.
I recently updated my version of Mission planner to the current 1.33. One of my Quads is giving me trouble when it comes to Compass Calibration. i collect over 1000 samples and when i click done, it says not enough samples. I have two other Quads tha
I have the 3DR power module supplying the input side of the APM 2.6 with it's requisite 5 volts. I have some LEDs and video switching gear that I also need to connect that require 5v. Clearly relying on the the APM 5v provided by the power module i
I sent the following message to gentles.ltd.uk concerning one of their RC camera triggers.
"I am considering a Sony A5000 camera for my fixed-wing UAV build which uses the 3DR Pixhawk autopilot system. The system is pre-programmed using Mission Plann
