As I understand the X8R "should" connect fine with the PixHawk.
The question is what FrSky Tx should I get for the Turnigy 9XR to make it all work? Will the 9XR work with the FrSky components so they all talk to each other?
If I have a large survey grid area that I want mapped and it requires several flight battery changes to complete, what is the best method to resume my auto mission using mission planner?
For example:
If I have a 50 waypoint mission setup and after 30 w
I'm new to these sort of projects, and I'm trying to prepare all the components I need to build a hexacopter. I'm looking to buy the jD-Simplex Hexa (RTF) from jDrones, with the upgraded motors, ESCs, and the 12x45 props. I'm also plannin
MY quad loses altitude bad when going forward and gains altitude going backwards. It's holds nicely in level flight. The barometer aka Pixhawk is well protected from direct air movements. Is there a X factor, if you will, that can get tweaked in the
I am installing an external compass and need to know if there have been any big improvements in hardware lately? I found an old magnetometer board in my parts box and need to know if it's ok to use it. I think it's a couple of years old.
Was considering getting an EzUHF or Dragonlink Tx/Rx kit for extra long range, but realized that their frequencies range may be interfering with the 3DR Telemetry kit. (I live in Europe so I have the 433 MHz version.)
I just received a 3DR x8 that I planned to use with some existing Spektrum equipment that I have. I have decided to keep that equipment where it is and get something dedicated to the X8. After doing a little reading I think I want to utilize a PPM-su
I can't enter 2000. It only allows a number as low as 3000. I don't get it. I have this set up and have the wifely connected to my Mac but cannot get APMP to connect to the network.
I'm using a Attopilot 45A sensor with a Pixhawk and 6S batts. The problem is that a) the voltage reading is way off using the Attopilot 45A presets and b) once the voltage stabilizes it doesn't change again, like it's stuck.
I've just received an order from Hobby King which they totally cocked up and was hoping for some advice. The main issue is that they have shipped a mode 1 transmitter, when I ordered mode 2 (Turnigy 5X). The transmitter seems to be switchable between
I would appreciate if someone can tell me what went wrong. We had a successfuly waypoint test last week. On Monday, we did another test at higher altitude, 200 m, and longer distance on Align's flying field at riverbank. The flight was normal at firs
I've read various reports over time that 'auto land' is (or was not so long ago) pretty fragile. Is that still the case? Can it yet make use of a proximity sensor to aid landing? If not, is there much work involved in improving this?
Can you help me about download on Mision Planer. I can not download the Quadrocopter or hexacopter to hardware APM 2.6 from computer..I wait many time whan it is dedecting...How can I solve
In AP HIL v3.02 and 3.03, as soon as X-Plane starts sending packets, all servo outputs go to 1.0. Also, the mode stays on INITIALIZING. Disabling X-plane packet transmissions brings the servo outputs back to normal.
I got my 3DR 2014 RTF Quad a couple months ago and have been flying/crashing it ever since. :-)
My first logs, sans prop balancing, showed high vibrations (so much for "RTF"). In hindsight, that was probably expected since I didn't balance the props.
My FPV speedster. 1.1 m span. 3D printed parts include wing to boom connectors, Fin and tailplane to boom connectors, motor mount and camera mount... APM2.5 autopilot
