I'm trying to connect my new 433 Mhz modules for the first time. They are communicating fine, green leds are solid, red leds are blinking. Settings are loaded on both modules with the same config. Port COM5 has been configured to the same baud
To start recording the APM accelerometer data the current Arducopter online reference manual says we should type "enable ins" (used to be "enable raw"). It's in the Vibration Damping section. That doesn't seem to enable anything that I can see.
I'm trying to build some of the ArduPilot software for the APM1. I keep getting error like:
%% APMrover2.elf /usr/lib/gcc/avr/4.5.3/../../../avr/bin/ld: /tmp/APMrover2.build/APMrover2.elf section `.text' will not fit in region `text' /usr/lib/gcc/avr/
Apparently I am having trouble with Mission Planner settings. The GUI has been updated since v.1.2.57. Does anyone else face this?? The settings are for my Arducopter (v2.9.1b).

Hi, I've been trying for a few days now and can't figure out these radios. I am using the PX4 platform and when I configure the modems with either the 3DR config tool or the RFD900 Modem tool, the radios seem to connect
I understand that this probably is not the place to post this, but it is as good as any that I can find. I just finished my Skywalker 168cm. It has the following: APM 2.5, 4000mah 4S 30C, 3DR Telemetry, 5.8Ghz 1W Video Transmitter and Receiver, Belly
I'm new to this forum, and seeking to learn about UAS pilot experience (commercial, enthusiast or military), as it's related to my PhD. I'd be really interested in learning specifically about the flight controls, and how UAS pilots interact wi
After getting the 2.5 3DR quad so that it can reliably lift off I was a little disappointed in difficult it was to fly. I was expecting that it would be more stable than say an electric copter with some assistance in hovering and/or staying in one p
I am currently using my own design ‘H’ frame quad with great success. It has the fore and aft arms mounted on silicone o rings and has very low levels of vibration, both on APM and direct mounted camera. The low kv motors and large props give good fl

I have a 3DR quad running 3.0.1 and am trying to figure out why it flips over and crashes well into a flight just about every other time I fly it. At first I thought it was due to vibration but I think I have that pretty much under control. My graphs
If I set the dist unit to feet is this shown in the HUD ONLY and all else in every single setting is in Metric? For instance when creating a mission there is 'default alt' setting. Is that number always in meters regardless of me selecting feet @ Con
Hi Guy's I had a crash today with my skywalker. It has never battered an eyelid at anything I have thrown at it and has flown many missions without a hiccup. Today I went for a fly at my usual haunt. I uploaded an auto flight with 4 waypoints (I have
These following were the steps I did to set up the FrSky TFR8 RX to initiate the fail safe on APM and in case this can help others . I suggest add yours here as well if you have a different TX/RX FS setup.
