Read more…I have been experimenting with boosting the signal and adding hi gain antennas at the base station and have made some progress (up to 1.5 miles) but have hit a wall on distance now and need to boost the gain on the Solo side to press further.

Read more…I am trying to geotag images with Mission Planner and then use PIX4d to orthorectify. The problem I am having is when the images are tagged they have the same lat/long. Anyone have any ideas? See the image below.
I've posted a brief video showing how to replace Solo's leg #1 and/or leg#2. Those are the ones with the antenna in them.
The legs look pretty sturdy, so I am not sure anyone has broken one yet...but it will eventually happen.
