Arducopter input ... I dont even know what.

Started this discussion. Last reply by R. D. Starwalt Apr 24, 2013. 2 Replies

Yesterday the quad-copter started to twitch. At first i guessed that one of the motors has to be going  bad. After I looked at logs, I found out that input pwm is horribly amiss. The pich input is…Continue

Today I was playing with autonomous Takeoff. First test was with remote, to see if everything is in order. The second and third tests went full Auto without any RC control and were complete…Continue

Yesterday I was doing a second flight with a new quadrotor frame and had a rather ok loiter for stock pid settings. For about 13 minutes loitering went very well but then the quadrotor started…Continue

Past month, I have been working on OpenSource RC remote like OSRC but with less PIC, less closed source (as they were a bit when I checked the last time) and more developer friendly. The need for…Continue

"John, I ripped the module off board and only use bat inp, gnd and output voltage. The regulator is 3A capable based on generic switching IC. I have pots on that for voltage adjustment and some super glue to keep the pots in place. Output is +/-…"

X4 first maiden

2years ago I worked at a job that needed me to configure different quadcopters on different autopilots. I have done ap and micropilot etc.  After quitting the job for various reasons I bought a 3Drobotics quad kit with ardupilot.  Now since I have many projects that actually need to be dropped from heights (starting from sensors and ending in skydivers practice tools) I decided to upgrade my aerial system to this: The gopro is just for size comparison PX4 works like a charm. The first time I…See More
