Congress Sets 2015 Deadline for Unmanned Aircraft Systems to Fly in the National Airspace

What does everyone think of this announcement?http://www.auvsi.org/news/#HouseFAAPassIs this news or just AUVSI tooting its own horn? Doesn't look like the bill is really all that close to the president's signature. Would this even be a good thing? Seems like it to me, but I don't really know.===After five years, and 23 extensions, Congress is finally poised to put an FAA bill on the President’s desk for his signature.  For the first-time…See More

ArduCopter not holding position post-crash

Hello arducopter people... I recently got my arducopter flying but I flew it straight into my ceiling, which was a bit spectacular, and a bit of a learning experience. I am wondering if the dome center is key to maintaining all the engines which is in turn key to maintaining stability? Also there is a very tiny dent…See More

Trouble getting my jdrones arducopter to arm the motors

Hi everyone. I just ordered the jdrones fully assembled arducopter and I've been working on getting it working. I am using it with a Turnigy 9Y radio.Everything worked great until the radio calibration step, when I noticed that the throttle was sending a signal on both 3 and 5! I found that odd but I figured I could work around it for the moment by setting all the different modes to stabilize. That way it would be in stabilize even if the throttle moved around.I tried to arm the motors and it…See More
