I have almost everything up and running. I used the APM planner to install the code into the APM the one thing I can't seem to configure is the airspeed sensor.
I am able to pull up Arduino, downloaded the latest 2.1 update, view everything but all o
I'm having trouble setting the PID settings due to our ArduCopter Configurator not connecting to the APM. I've tried the settings provided in the wiki on setting/connecting.
We can see the status going to Reading Flight Data but the ellipses
I have another problem, my ardu "package" stops working.
I tried to connect with usb cable and first time it worked but suddenly it disconnected from arducopter configurator. When i've tried to reconnect nothing happened(the 3 LEDs stop work
Hi we are a group of engineering students trying to build a 3 - 6 channel controller for our thesis. As of now, we already have a 6 channel helicopter and an IMU. Since it is really hard to fly a 6 channel heli, we came up with this project. I just w
Hi. As i understand the latest ArduPilot Mission Planner should have the possibility to upload ArduCopter firmware. I tried it but there are only options for ArduPilot. I tried to upload the code using arduino but it returned a lot of errors. Can any
Is there a guide on how to use the arducopter configurator? Just some simple definitions would help really. What is kp rate? What does it affect? When I change the PID settings, how does that affect the copter?
We are building a UAV and have recently run into trouble with our motor. It has worked smoothly in the past, but now is makes a clicking when it is run. The motor is a Park 450 Brushless Outrunner Motor, 890Kv. The ESC is an E-Flite 20-Amp Brushless.
I'm used to letting the gyro on my conventional RC heli initialize free from any motion until it is ready. I have been doing this out of habit for my quad, but I never recalled reading that this was necessary for the arducopter boards.
I was wondering what you are using for storage and carrying your quad... I havent finish my build but I already wonder what is the best way... of course a Pelican case would be super nice but it will cost more than the quad! hehe :)
I have an ArduIMU+ v2, with a DIYDrones GS407 and breakout board (basic). I am supplying power to the ArduIMU+ with a 7.2V LiPo battery. I think the ArduIMU is mostly working as it is able to read its own sensors and it talks to an HMC5843
If anybody has read the Make Magazine issue about how to make an RC lawnmowe, I was wondering if it would be possible to hook an APM up to that. I understand that the ArduRover project is currently being worked on and for a lawnmower to work it would
I have attached a Gaui 330XS camera mount with servo tilting on my ArduCopter. I used the legs from the camera mount kit to extend the arducopter legs.Just wanted to share a photo with you in case anyone else are looking for a similar solution!
