About Me:

I have recently re-ignited my interest in R/C airborne craft. I think it was the FPV & AP systems that hooked me. II work in special effects for film & T.V. I'm no longer a kid but I still enjoy R/C boats and planes, model rockets. I also like photography, boating (being around water), motorcycles & electronics.

Please tell us a bit about your UAV interest

Chris Card replied to Konrad Harbort's discussion Xbee as telemetry module for pixhawk does not work
"The Xbee 868 has a low data rate, 24Kbps, & if you enable AES encription I believe it will be reduced further.
If the telemetry serial data rate is greater than the radios' RF transmition data rate there will be lost data.
Maybe try reducing the…"

Chris Card replied to Bill Harrison's discussion Looking for input - tethered Quad platform to fly communication antenna
"The Naze32 must be powered by a regulated 5 Volt supply.
You may use a linear regulator or a buck converter or a buck/boost converter.

It would be advisable to add at least a 1000 uF , Micro Farad, capacitor in parallel with a 0.1 uF ceramic…"

It looks so surreal  [ @ 3:10 ]  to see the plane just 'hanging' there as though it were hanging on a string.
