About Me:

I have recently re-ignited my interest in R/C airborne craft. I think it was the FPV & AP systems that hooked me. II work in special effects for film & T.V. I'm no longer a kid but I still enjoy R/C boats and planes, model rockets. I also like photography, boating (being around water), motorcycles & electronics.

Please tell us a bit about your UAV interest

Chris Card commented on Xrotors.net's blog post Runcam 2 gimbal more prototype

Chris Card replied to Konrad Harbort's discussion Xbee as telemetry module for pixhawk does not work
"The Xbee 868 has a low data rate, 24Kbps, & if you enable AES encription I believe it will be reduced further.
If the telemetry serial data rate is greater than the radios' RF transmition data rate there will be lost data.
Maybe try reducing the…"

Chris Card replied to Abolo's discussion Plane gose CRAZY always Big pitch up + log in ArduPlane User Group
"Regarding large log files that are too big to upload, you can save them in DropBox and post a link here to the file(s).

Tim Shcuh has made some good suggestions, that you have not answered.

Your plane should be able to fly well in manual mode…"

Chris Card commented on Marco Robustini's blog post Testing "motors smoothing patch" of the "PX4 Autopilot VTOL" code
"Wow , that's great!
It looks so surreal  [ @ 3:10 ]  to see the plane just 'hanging' there as though it were hanging on a string.

Chris Card commented on Chris Anderson's blog post Hobbyking releasing new RC radio specifically for APM/Pixhawk

Chris Card replied to herve pellarin's discussion Cant get elevator work in the right direction in stabilize mode
"With a normal RC setup for a plane channel 1 is for aileron, channel 2 is for elevator, channel 3 is the throttle and the rudder is on channel 4.
If there are no ailerons then the rudder servo should be connected to the aileron output , CH 1.

If…"
