Hi everyone, so I haven't flown my copter in a while and when I reconnected it to Mission Planner I did the newest update for Arducopter then redid the whole calibration wizard for accelerometer, compass, failsafes, flight modes etc.
Can you please let me know if there are good batteries that can let quadcopters survive a flight time of an hour? Assume 1KWh to 4Kwh energy per hour for four motors.
I have tried to find the minimum requirements(disk space, speed, ram...) for installing and running MP but without success. I'm looking for a cheap netbook and this choice comes with limited perfs. Any idea ?
I'm trying to make my quad copter repeat a flight path multiple times until I take control with my RC controller. I have tried to do this using way points. The problem is it would fly one pattern and land but not repeat the pattern. Is their any way
I would like to know how to create my AutoWP / Gridv2 with the flight pattern going east to west? Or some other method of creating an east/west grid flight. I am using MP 1.3.30
Right now I am creating and flying Gridv2 waypoint routes,
If copter angle is greater then 90° in acro mode, switching to autolevel (Stabilize) mode, the copter goes up side down! manu PS: Impossible to get an acro behavior as with KK, CleanFlight, Mwii ..., why ..., i think the cause is the I-accumulator, t
I just finished up assembling a hex. I am having an issue where the back two motors (4 & 6) are starting up far later than the other motors and sometimes not at all.
Even when switching motors/ ESCs, the issue continues with whichever motor/ESC
I have a dead pixhawk and 3DR says it outside warranty and wont replace it. There's a chance that I can use my credit card companys extended warranty to cover it, but I can't find the warranty information anywhere and 3DR support isn't exactly quick
With the advent of new multicopter's like the Lily (https://www.youtube.com/watch?t=65&v=4vGcH0Bk3hg) which is designed specifically for completely autonomous flight without a traditional R/C has anyone considered who's responsible for the aircraft,
As there are a lot of experimenters and DIY people here, I have a small question...
I have been playing around with the MPU-9150 IMU from Invensense, but was a little worried about the amount of processing (and code!) that needs to run on the host CPU
Yesterday, I went flying after a rebuild. The quad would fly great for a few minutes, then switch to RTL and attempt to land itself. (I was flying in drift mode) I switched to stabilize and was able to regain control. Once I switched back, the same t
I am very confused by the earth to body frame conversion code when I compare it with the frame conversion matrix that I found on the pixhawk website. Could someone please help me out... I cannot believe how much time I have wasted on this... M
Looking for some insights from the group on what may be the issue, and has anyone else had an IMU flatline and the rig end up on the ground in a pile of pieces? Here are two screenshots, with IMU and pitch/roll, and IMU and speed/altitude.
Hey so I'm looking into making a mapping/land surveying application for my drones that I can use on a tablet or phone. Similar to the DJI Vision App or Mission Planner where I can connect to the drone and control simple things like waypoint navigatio
I have triple checked all my motor orders, prop orientations, etc. And I mean triple checked. Motor test completed the clockwise loop ok. All calibrations done - accel, compass, esc end points etc.
