I'm having some issues with my 3DR radio. I've tried reverting my settings back to default and replacing my antennas but I haven't been able to get my range much past 20ft before my connection fails. I've graphed my log and it looks fine to me
I saw Robert at Drone Con #1 talking about the traditional heli and now I want one! I'd like to get into this a cheap as possible and still get pretty good quality gear. I do FPV with everything else I've got so I'll want to do that too. So what kind
I want to use the FollowMe code in the repo, or wrap my own, for having an ArduCopter follow me going down a mountain road. That means, it will receive guided mode commands with negative relative altitudes.

I just got the GPS unit, but there was no cable. I new to all this stuff what type of cable do I need to connecting to the board 2.5?Thanks for the help
Hey everyone. I've been flying and doing 'missions' with my Arducopter for the last few months. Everything is working great and it's lots of fun. I've been seeing lots of videos of fixed wing aircraft using the AMP 2.5. I'd love to give one a try. I
I've updated mono and downloaded the latest MissionPlanner (MP) from http://ardupilot.com/downloads/?category=4 while trying to run it get the following error. I'm not sure what else to update, any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks in advanc
When I set waypoints in Mission Planner and send them to my APM 2.5, I assume that when I switch to AUTO it will complete the mission even if the Arducopter goes out of radio or telemetry range. The mission is stored onboard and needs no other input,
To get the 6 PWM levels required for six flight modes with a JETI radio DC-16 or DS-16, the procedure is very simple (I have the JETI firmware in French, so I'm not sure of the expressions used for the menus in English):
I really like the idea of using a tablet as a GCS and would like to know if it's possible to connect the 3DR radios directly to my tablet (it has a USB port). Has anyone done it? Do you need separate drivers?
So I have been flying for a while now and have been using the logs to narrow down the occasional setup bug here and there. But lately (since updating MP to the latest version) I no longer have any tlogs being generated when I connect my rig after fli
I am trying to use a set of 3DR radios to control an arduino board robot through a PC using a controller/gamepad that is hooked up through mission planner.
From what i understand a 3DR radio is more a less just a serial tunnel, but i am no
I am planning a heli drone build and have a couple questions. I will keep adding as I go.First, can I work the programming bugs out on a cheap 450 and then transfer the hardware to a bigger platform, such as a 500? I am sure it would require some tun
Id love to get an idea what people are using for their aerial mapping Canon cameras. I have the Canon S95, which usis optical image stabilization (OIS). This means the lenses are floating and move around in a very finite level to adjust for your hand
I've been doing some flights to test how APM 2.73 manages airspeed. I'm using a Bixler 2, which is a pretty slow airframe and can be blown backwards at low throttle settings. I have a 3DR ArduPilot 2 kit with GPS and Telemetry, and an Airspeed Sens
Hi everyone. I'm new to multirotors and have a question regarding batteries. I've built the 3DR Arducopter kit with APM 2.5. I've been using 3 cell, 11.1v 2200mAh lipo batteries. I am able to get 9-11 minutes of flight time per battery. I'd love to b
Currently we can only do radio configuration without connecting the Mission Planner with APM. There must be some reason MP prevent us from doing other configuration or at least can view other tab without connecting.
OK i have tested my new octocopter on 3.0 and have found a big issue that i am unsure of how to fix.
Stabalise workes perfectly, no issues whatsoever but loited has serious problems, it is sporadic and unpredictable. I have a full flight video linked h
