during flying with hexacopter AC2 firmware 2.025, after exiting alt hold mode, all motors suddenly stops. Free fall from cca 20 m, crash to pieces. Pilot fault excluded (everything as usual). Any ideas?
I would think it is recommended but is it mandatory?
Tried loiter today with 2.0.28 starts to make circles that get bigger and bigger and then it does a funky 180-360 degree spin that scares me! but nothing stable mode cant handle=)
I have no Idea what the latest firmware version is loaded into my Arducopter by Mission Planner. Is it possible to show it somewhere in the APM Mission Planner? Not The Mission Planner version but the Arducopter firmware version.

I've been recommended these by the helpful chaps over at FirstPersonView (fpvuk.org) as just about the only legal setup available in the UK. ie 25 mW at 5.8 GHz. Toal cost without camera £169.
Does anyone know what nut fits on the standard motors for arducopter? I lost the locking nut on top of the propeller and I decided to use normal nuts, but is it M4 or M5?
I have a std AC frame (no vibration damping, ragged old blades, kind of parallel arms, lots of tape and dings), old board without jumpers. Unit flies great with Ardupirates NG - sonar hold very accurate, good loiter, etc.
My quad was flying OK but then next flight it had little or no left yaw when I moved the stick(it takes full stick to get it to yaw left a little bit). When moving the stick to the right it swings round very quickly more than before!

Today I thought id try the latest 2.0.26 firmware. also got the latest mission planner.For some reason I'm not getting any flight data when I connect to the mission planner. It connects successfully and I can use the terminal when I go into CLI mode.
