The first flight went pretty well, tested stabilize, moved forward, switched to RTL and it came back, flew backwards to get home, I assume thats normal, was not sure if it would turn and face me or not.
I've seen serial prints are discouraged in AC3, so I am wondering if there is any good way at all to talk to a simple RX/TX device over the unused UART2 on the APM2.5 without using MAVLink.
It's a small processor listening for serial transmission usin
first post so be gentle with me. I have the apm 2.5 in the 3dr case on a genuine F450 frame with dji opto esc and dji 920kv motors. Now I have been learning the art of tuning and in stabilise mode in calm conditions it flies hands off, really
I have a FPV-Quad with DJI-OPTA 30amp ESC's and 3DR motors. This is all controlled with a APM2.6 Unit, with GPS and Telemetry. I am controling with a er9X controller with the added board for easy USB updating and programming.
I am using APM 2.6 on Quadrotor. I had couple of flights with 4 cell lipo batteries. Today when I connected 4 cell battery to battery monitor, it burned off with smoke. I removed battery monitor and tried to arm APM but it did not arm. Now I am tryin
I am currently using the Spektrum DX7s and it has worked well for me using the APM 2.5 on my hexacopter. All though, after setting up the transmitter for six modes for Arducopter and the pitch/tilt control on my camera, I am maxed on my channels. N
So I've got 3 3DR Quads that I would like to start using for aerial mapping and a variety of other applications which require cameras other than the GoPro. Has anyone figured a way to mount a dual axis camera mount centered beneath the quad? I would
What will hapen if i fly in auto, and i switch to stabilize between two waypoints, and than switch to auto again? will it continue to next waypoint,or what?
Hi, I want to send a single integer value from my APM2.5 (ArduCopter 3.1) back to the ground station, and I'm trying to find the simplest way to achieve it.
1) Is it feasible to overwrite a non-critical, already-defined signal (such as gps_raw_int.sat
Hi There, I am an Arduino beginner having a tough time porting a serial command from ArduCopter 2x to the new ArduCopter 3x. I am trying to send serial data out on pins 16 and 17 of my ArduPilot Mega APM2.
I just started to use Arducopter and had my first successful flights yesterday. I set up my tgy 9x radio to include loiter, and return to home. Today I am rebuilding this quad to be a deadcat style.
