VSI Fluctuations

I have noticed a fluctuation in VSI even while the quad is level, calibrated, stable, un-powered.  I went as far as removing the ArduPilot from the quad and connecting it to my laptop and with no external interference/vibrations, I see a fluctuation

Trex 450 with APM2.5
