Hi, today I've got a problem when I mount my APM2 with turn off onboard GPS and I use a new 3DR GPS. While GPS isn't block all seem ok but when GPS is lock pitch start to oscilate. If it's in stabilized mode the pitch servo try to correct attitude.
When I try to do tests for my APM2 with MP (IMU, radio, pressure,...) and the last firmware, some lines of the tests show in blank or some digits displaced. This is normal? or I have some problem?
I just received an order of an apm2 and telemetry kit and got these two parts in the mix can anybody tell me what they are for or point me to the right point on the Wiki.
We are desperately looking for assistance with a few issues we have currently with getting our ardupilot setup to function correctly within the simulator (XPLANE10) prior to taking to the field and loosing an airframe and / or more.
I find the land speed from 10 mtr's is for my quad too fast is the a way i can slow it down?
Also can i set in the last box on the take off command to 10 mtr's and will it then take off and climb to 10 mtr's before moving to the first waypoint?
Can anyone recommend a FPV kit that's safe to use with the APM 2 board? I've been doing some research and there is so many components out there that I'm not sure what works and what doesn't and I don't want to have to rebuild my setup half a dozen t
I have a problem, that the GPS is not particularly accurate by the time the home location is set automatically. My home location is often 50m away in some random direction, which (since I live in a city) is often close to a road.
A "hard landing" has made the MediaTek GPS separate from the APM2 shield. The blue led no longer flashes on startup and I cannot use Live Calibration on the compass (it shows that I'm off the coast of West Africa, instead of in PHX, AZ). Can anyo
Is it possible for the APM to perform Orbit Mode like the AutoQuad. I found it really useful especially for AP/Video to do a 360 around the point of interest while keeping camera pointed to it. Is there any source code for it?
my name is Bernardo, I'm located since 4 years in Germany. After a long time of reading about multicopter and comparing different brands and options I decided that the flight control and the electronics should be the ArduPilot Mega v. 2.5.
How do you start a "new" mission. I just flew a short test mission , then brought the plane down and loaded a new mission. I even had it read it back to me to be sure it was loaded, but when I went up and hit auto, it just wanted to come home.. Ju
I have been struggling a lot to get a descent loiter with my quadcopter with the on-board APM2 mediatek gps unsuccessfully. I read a lot of things that made me realize it's not gonna happen with my current setup since i keep the APM2 in the mid
Is there a comprehensive tutorial for QGroundControl? I looked at the QGroundControl site and their help seems to be half done. I am a newbie with a Mac and it would be nice if there was some sort of get you in the air quick start guide. Also can you
I have just been thinking doing trying some stuff with the windows console. Did anyone try this? Is it possible to fly the ArduCopter with the good old windows console? Sure, it's not as cool as the missionplanner, but I just had this though
I'm trying to program my APM to fly to waypoint A, fly to waypoint B, return to A, return to B, etc., indefinitely. The simple approaches I've tried with a single jump command don't work: the plane ignores my jump instruction and returns home after v
