I bought a complete DIY Drone kit August 2010 on CoolComponent.co.uk
It was supposed to be my wedding present for myself... it happens that soon my first son was born, and now that I'm waiting the second, I realize I will not have the tim
Hello All,I am working on my first drone, using an E-Flite UltraStick. So far the build has been going well. I developed a system for switching between radio and arduino control. I am working on developing my PIDs. I got a decent bench test in today.
I just finished building my first tricopter and have been trying everything I can to connect to upload and configure the firmware via Mission Planner 1.1.98. It times out and gives "No Heartbeat Packet Received" error. I'm able to connect to my APM1
I have just completed my implementation of of using the MAVLink XML to setup decom tables to process the MAVLink 1.0 stream. In the process of checking out the decom process I noticed that Messige ID 25 is not properly populated. Looking at the at
I am trying to view flight logs and when i go into terminal it disconnects from mission planner each time. This happens before i can hit enter 3 times to put it into cli mode. everything else functions ok but not this. I must be doing something wrong
I'm a newbie here and I don't want to bore you all with basic questions, but although I have been searching a lot in wiki and forum, I still have doubts about some APM 2 features.
I'm using arduplane 2.40 trying to get the camera tracking/stabilizing working.
It seems to randomly respond to pitch and roll movements and violently move to an extreme and then stay in the position regardless of the tilt of the aircraft.
I have been having quite a few random problems with my arducopter. Mostly stemming from what ended in a pretty bad crash a couple months ago. My quad seems like it has wanted to immediately go to a 45 degree pitch at the back right motor.
I am working on my first drone using a E-Flite UltraStick. I have built up my code for retrieving data from accelerometer/gyroscope, and have constructed PID loops to set the plane to the necessary attitude as determined by the GPS. However
I have been working on creating my first drone. I began this project by testing my own arduino based PID controller. Then I moved on to actually installing the PID and accelerometer/gyroscope into an RC glider to test for level flight (http://
The GoPro Hero 2 comes soon with wifi bacpac option. Wonder if there is any worth trying the wifi live view option to iphone via wifi (2,4 Ghz same as radio!) or will the GoPro wifi-transmitting jam the receiver for the radio?
I just upgraded this morning and now the fonts are all messed up. All the previous versions were perfect on my computer the only change was from 1.1.97 to 1.1.98.
Please could someone tell me, how would an APM2 respond if the motor failed. Would the autopilot attempt to maintain the altitude and stall the aircraft, or would this be detected and the aircraft would glide to the ground?
I have a stock Gaui 330X-S. I have calibrated the ESC and it works a treat. I will soon be removing the stock gyro and replacing it with an APM 2.0. My question is, do I have to recalibrate the ESC's once I've put the APM on?
