I found this topic in "troubleshooting", but the suggestions didn't help.
The plane has been working fine in FBWA, auto, etc., but would only operate in manual mode today. I don't see any errors in HUD or from telemetry logs.

I am trying to calibrate my external 3DR GPS/Compass. Under Mandatory hardware and Compass, I set the orientation to "APM with External Compass". Now if i disconnect and reconnect using mission planner, the radio button switches to "Manual".

I have calibrated my Accelerometer on the APM 2.6. I am running firmware 3.0.1. This is a brand new APM board. Linked is a video of the APM sitting flat on a table. Why does the horizon move - is there a problem with my Accelerometer ?
