New to UAV
Hey guys, it's great to meet you all. I'm new to UAV technology. I currently fly RC electric helicopters.
Hey guys, it's great to meet you all. I'm new to UAV technology. I currently fly RC electric helicopters.
A thought that occurred to me recently: is it possible to use the spare parts that a lot of RC shops sell, or maybe a semi-dismantled RC transmitter handset, to make your own transmitter? As in, build something from an Arduino/BeagleBoard/Gumstix/cus

Althought it seems to me it's the first question that comes in mind when building a multirotor, there's not really much interest in determining which is the best design (deppending on the use) on the net.
I only could find some tri/quad
Hi Guys
Does anyone have any model plans for the INTEGRATOR UAV?
Anyone have any idea what the wing sweep angle is on this airframe (?) – have looked high and low on the internet, but like most unique model design spec (other than for basic data/dimens

I am suppose to decide on the places on how to place my hardware onto my Epo Styrofoam plane.
I have EM406 GPS, XBEE, Ardupilot, XY and Z sensor. How should I stick them onto my airplane so that the hardware is neat and firm? I am now using Styrofoams
Is there a way to read the coordinates for the RTL / Home waypoint? Can I send a command via the ttl cable to get the coordinates? I have stabilize and both flybywire options tuned for my easystar. However when testing RTL the plane appears to go int

I have just finish building my Quad. There are lots of information on setting up the quad and configuring it with Configurator. Thank you for all these details. My quad is working, (haven't tested GPS or Magnetometer yet) motors arm correctly and I c

I have been reading on the AeroQuad and ArduPilot forums and glad to see the two had teamed up. =) I wish I had been one of the lucky guys to test the ArduCopter beta.
I have some experience flying rc heli's, 4ch and 6ch and have a pro
I am trying to use my DX6 and AR6000 receiver which use DSM and am asking if this transmitter and receiver will work with the Arducopter?
If so, I will go back to trying to get it to acknowledge it.
The green light on the oilpan stays on steady and doe
Has anyone else had their MediaTek GPS lock up, refuse commands, and send unrecognizable garbage?
hello all,
i am just setting up my ardupilot and i have some questions (maybe a dumb one)

will this have an effect on the

Hi,
Can anyone tell me when the Ardupilot EZ will be released, also a rough price?
Thanks,

So basically, I wrote a complementary filter in Arduino, and have uploaded it onto my board. I have a three axis IMU, three axis magnetometer, GPS, barometer, differential pressure and Ultrasonic which run at 50Hz, 50Hz, 1Hz, 9Hz, 10Hz and
Hey all, I was trying to test the "Throttle Test" from the test suite, the values of the ch1, 2 and 3 should go according to the position of my transmitter?
Because the values of the 3 channels does not change, it kept constant at a certain value.
And
Is it 15 minutes roughly? How can I increase it to an hour or 45 minutes or such? I have absolutely no rc experience but am looking for a quad that is easy to fly and can fly for at least 30 minutes using ardupilot to take advantage of autonomous fli
