I just recently put together a quad build. I have used Pixhawk on a previous build and decided to use one on this build. I set everything up fine, did calibration, but sporadically got "Compasses are inconsistent" pre-arm warnings.
First of my Pixhawk has been working for over a year now without problems.
I have upgraded from an F450 frame to a Tarot 680 with DJI 800 propulsion system. This has worked for over 1 month but now after adding some extra's to the frame (retracts, pow
I saw an article about China banning the export of drone(parts) and supercomputer(parts).
It appears China is going to ban the more high end drones, including drones with "wind stabilization" and drones that can fly for longer than 60 minutes, accord
I need help trying to figure out why my hexacopter running APM copter (version 3.2, I think, but I'm not sure how to check) suddenly had a mind of its own. Here's what happened - you can see it all in the logs I've attached: I took the drone off in
Take off, WP1, WP....., Land, wait until a external button is pressed; If not pressed wait xx sec; if the button pressed wait xx sec, Take off, Wp....., Land.
Picked up a "blue label" LIDAR from Pulsedlight, thinking that it would now work with Pixhawk without all the bugs. Afterall, it is advertised as "Now broadly compatible with the most basic of I2C drivers and most micro-controller boards.".
The problem I have is that while my Pixhawk is sufficiently dampened from vibs my camera gimbal is possibly resonating with from them. This problem is observed in flight by a violent shaking left and right while the gimbal shakes fore and aft.
Might anyone be working on automating this or has anyone done it manually?
The idea is to be able to plan a mission that flies along the centerline (more or less) of a canyon, while keeping the camera pointed at the wall of the canyon.
Having used the APM2.0 with onboard compass and GPS with hardly any problems....whats the difference between this board and the APM2.6 ? ...... Apart from GPS/Compass being separate ?
