This is a discussion re the bad Accel, Gyro and Baro values that we're seeing with ArduCopter-3.1. The increase in the SPI bus speed from 500khz to 8Mhz has exposed a hardware problem on some boards. That hardware problem is that the 3.3V regulator
I know we have numerous modes available for the Arducopter, but I thought combining Super Simple Mode with Altitude Hold would make the perfect bail out mode. While I'm able to regain orientation I need to move it about the sky a little to verify dire
I'm setting up an APM heli using a PX4 + IO, but I couldn't find any info of wiring. My setup is a 120 swashplate with a separate direct drive variable pitch tail, which means I have a normal tail servo with an extra motor at the tail to control.
I have calibrated radio. In radio calibration: When I push right stick forward the green pitch bar goes up and shows pwm value 1940, stick in the middle value is 1520 and when the stick is pulled back the value is 1100 and the green bar is down. S
Quick question hopefully someone can help with. When using APM 2.6 with an airspeed sensor and on an airplane is there anyway to just set the airspeed when flying in auto mode? For instance just say fly 30 mph. I understand that there is a cruise
Something about me: my hobby is electronics, and by profession I am a computer programmer. I built a few things, like DIY CNC, and a small robot (Ultrasonic obstacle avoidance robot). I like to play with PIC micro-controllers.
I see in the common-Pixhawk Overview that it comes with a "External power supply similar to existing 3DR power brick". Anyone know if the power brick supports higher voltages than the standard 3DR power brick which only supports up to a 4s LiPo (18v
Rookie here. Got my receiver all setup and connect to ESC, binded transmitter fine. Tested all servos, worked great. Plug in the battery the thirty time and now when I push the throttle the main motor doesn't fire up, it spins slowly, making a pain
The copter flies very good in calm winds. RTL, loiter, alt hold all perform nicely as well. In auto mode flight if their is much wind at all during forward flight between waypoints it will start bucking. Sometimes it gets past it but yesterday I thin
Just got an APM 2.6 which I cant get working with a futaba 2.4ghz receiver. The APM works with up to 3 channels connected to the receiver when I connect channel 4 the APM locks up. I have three receivers and get the same problem with them all. I also
i am looking for telemetry modem that can be used both as modem for data-link and remote control??? i m working on my final project to build UAV with GCS...
please suggest any modem you know that meets my requirement.
I went to fly my 3dr hexacopter the other night in particular to test out my gimbal/video tx for the first time. (note that I was flying LOS the entire time although when I did glance down occasionally I had a good video feed) Things started out grea
