I tried using the search function for this forum but it didn't give any results. I am trying to figure out if I can order the different 3dr quad plates, the ones that come with the pre-built 3dr quad are what I am looking for.
Many of us, definitely me included, have been asking Randy and other developers to analysis the log to see if any tuning needs adjusting such as comparing the roll in / out tracking, magfield level, sat dropouts and other things. If we had a speadshe
My first question is....the BEC? Do I need it? I'm pretty sure I do. Where does it go? I'm thinking I saw something about a stock DJI F550 frame, esc, motor, must use an esc. I have a Turnigy SBEC 8-40V max 5A. switchable 5 or 6 volts. Should that
I am contemplating taking the APM 2.5 apart and painting the inside black to ensure the barometer is not going to sense light. Any reason I shouldn't do this?
If the barometer is sensitive to light why would the case be transparent? I don't think I c
I'm using mission planner 1.2.64 and while connected to my hexacopter and in the Config/Tuning menu > ArduCopter Pids I see that the WPNav(cm's) is greyed out and I am unable to change any settings there. Is anyone else having this issue? Why is it i
I would like some help reviewing my tlog. I wanted to test the Alt_Hold and Loiter, but my flight times stink. The hexacopter is seven pounds and I am using a 4S 5000mAh 50c lipo. Per the voltage_battery, It seems I get a considerable drop in voltag

I finally did the test of hard fixing the APM case to the frame, thus not having two separate masses with vibration dampening materials in between, as before (i.e. : frame/props on one side and APM on the other side).
I did the compassmot calibration and at full throttle I keep getting 38%. I know it is in the low range of the gray area. I should be okay per compassmot, correct? All of my other calibrations look good.
I've had a couple instances when cutting the throttle did not stop the props. So I got some long thick gloves so I could unplug the batteries. (10" blades)
I've tried setting the throttle hold/cutoff switch, but it won't work. Sometimes it speeds thin
