Is there a way that we can configure the ardupilot to follow the terrain topology, example:
I am at 0 altitude, and I have created a waypoint 1 at 30 meters and a second waypoint 2 at 30 meters also, but between them there is a high hill at 50 met
So i bought a minimosd direct from 3dr. First time ive done this. I wired it up to be powered off of the flight controller (pixhawk) and just have video and ground running through the video side like i always have. No video is coming out. Even wh
I want to setup my swash plate servos, but oddly it's not possible to save the MIN/MAX values for the servos 1 to 3. At every restart of the APM the values HSx_MIN and HSx_MAX are set to the defaults (1000 and 2000). Only trim (HSx_TRIM) remains i
I want to get GPS position for each image I take with Tetracam ADC Lite camera without having to analyze the log file after each flight. This camera has a dedicated RS-232 to capture the NMEA GPS sentences.
Been trying to update the firmware of my brand new apm 2.6 unit. I keep getting a no connection error after reading the hex while trying to update my firmware. I tried using flip to update the chip firmware and that seemed successful. Any ideas why I
I've posted about this before, but I feel I must reinforce this:
You MUST use a completely independent power supply for your APM or Pixhawk than you use for the Servos. DO NOT use one BEC to supply both the Servos, and the APM/Pixhawk.
The images attached (photomosaic and blown up section) were taken on the weekend. I am flying a Skywalker X7 with a Nikon J2 camera using a Pixhawk and triggering the camera every 30 metres.
The problem I have is that the pictures can be taken
I am diving into the ArduCopter code for my project. I am curious how the Arducopter repository is compiled for specific hardware (whether its APM or PIXHAWK). When I look at the Arducopter repositories, I come across lot of .pde (arduino specif
RTL has worked well for 10-15 flights. Tonight I performed compassmot, came back at 6%. Did it again, 7%. Everything seemed ok, but haven't tried Auto Tune yet.

I'm running a 2014 RTF 3DR Quad with 3.12 (yea, I've been told to upgrade).
I noticed yesterday that in stable hover on a windless day, my motor (RCOUT) outs are not the same. The logs clearly shows that motors 1 and 4 are sort of in sync while 2 alwa

Ok my OSD will come up and I thought I would add the RSSI data from the FrSky X8R however after I set the voltage read to 3.3 v and connect the RSSI port to the SBUS port 103 it says 48% maybe 47% but does not seem to move.. I can change the other se
Apologies this is probably a dumb question but I have not done this before.
