If someone wants to use the APM to control a fuel driven UAV and wants to go through the trouble of fine tunning the setup what will then need to change in the APM code to operate the servo instead of a ESC?
HiI am using the CLI for setting up the APM, and am using the serial monitor on Arduino. If i wish to calibrate the accelerometer offsets, i press i and it hangs.and all further commands don't work. What am i doing wrong?ThanksSrinath
I have tried every way possable and can't seem to get 2.12 to load.
I first tried with APM planner 0.4.34 I found that if you update 0.4.34 to 0.4.36 you get a load but wont verify message. BTW I like the new firmware installer.
If im running 4 motors that on their own they draw about 25-30A does that mean that i need a battery that has a maximum draw (mAh capacity * discharge rate) higher than 120A (30+30+30+30=120)?For the longest time i thought this to be the case, but i
I hope that I understand the situation correctly:1) MAVlink protocol has a message type that includes a slot for reporting mAh remaining in battery.2) HK-GCS does not utilize the mAh information, so the very nice widget for reporting battery status o
Just loaded 2.12 - yaw probs seem better. I ended up with sonar PID of .5 .01 .2 rather than default .8 .01 .05 for my standard AC frame and now it is fairly stable in sonar altitude hold, but I think I still need to tweak a bit. Hope to run
In reference to the comments in "DIY Drones team at Maker Faire" posting, I will start a new discussion about the future of Ardu Hardware Development.I think it is time for a more powerfull processor to execute our nice Arducode. There are a lot of be
APM 2.x running fine, all's well with a couple exceptions. I am using APM Planner to upload waypoints and altitudes, A/V does what is expected, naving to lat and longs, but the altitude does not make sense (No
I'm working on a research project for a university in Peoria, IL with an omnidirectional ground based robot. I'm wondering if the APM is a good choice for a brain for the robot.
My main question is can I use the APM without any shield at all? I know
Its just for curiosity, my quad is working fine now, but I measured in the scope the PPM output from APM to ESC and I noticed that its is arround 3V, is it common? shouldnt it be 5V?
I'm running APM 2.11 on a newly built ArduPilotMega with IMU shield.I have a 3s lipo battery pack that is being monitored by APM (with 3.9k resistors installed in the voltage divider). When I use APM terminal (via USB), test] battery returns...1;8.35
I made this basic Unmanned Ground Vehicle from scratch last year. Its controlled through hyper terminal on Windows( after I connect the transmitter/ remote control to the serial port ). The thing is that now I want to control it on some bet
