HiI would need some clarification concerning the orientation of the APM for a frame flying in X-configuration, as I find contradictory information on the internet.- For X-configuration, does the APM "look" towards the left front motor or in direction
Im trying to process my flight logs in the mission planner. i have APM version 2.012 beta which I installed to my APM using the firmware update feature. I also have the latest HappyKillmore GCS along with Google Earth and necessary plugins.
I dont think my magnetometer readings are right. On the configuratior i'm getting around -100 degrees when my quad is facing north (checked against a standard non electronic compass). When I run the compass test sketch I get values around 10 degrees.
I've been using a mac with fusion to run arduino, configurator with the arducopter ng code.
Now I'm getting into a skywalker and will use the beta 2.0 code. I see there are two different ground stations. Which is the best way to go? Mac with Fusion o
Im a bit confused as to how to wire everything up. Ive found the ardupirates diagrams to be most helpful but i still have some doubts. So the way i see it, each motor connects to its own ESC. From there, the black/red wires go to the batteries and th

I've been gathering several information for my project. One of them is that a flight of a RC Plane or Copter can only last for approximately 10 minutes or even lower.

Oh no! a newby college student asking questions! I know how frustrating it can be to have someone join the forums and say "here's my project... tell me how I can do it". So I just have a couple questions I would like to ask those that have more exper
