I am using an ArduIMUv3, an APM2.5, and an Arduino UNO.
I am able to use one USB (or both)connector to either the APM or the UNO to both load programs and supply power - even if I connect the UNO to the APM via an RC 3-wire servo wire connector.
Just wondering if anybody is still using APM1 on TradHeli?
Last night I just did some test hops with the APM2.5 in the new rate control mode. It seems to be working. Can't declare victory yet, but it's promising.
In APM (ArduPlane/ ArduCopter) with/ without Mission Planner, we can observe that when the board is titled down, pitch angle changes from 0 (horizontal position), to 90 (vertically pointing downward), and tilting it further brings/decreases it ba
Hello all,I notice that on the page for the Ready to Fly hexacopter Arducopter, there is an option for $55 sonar. I do not see this sonar anywhere for the full assemblage kit of the same hexacopter-style arducopter. Is this sonar actually included? Is
I have marked my waypoints as 80 meters and some days ago it was working at the exact (79-81) altitude, but last flights I get 55-59 meters even if the waypoints are 80meters. Its a 5 waypoint mission and it doesn't climb... its not the motor, its
I was brainstorming on coming up with an idea based on UAV, Quadcopter application in real-time. In the area of surveillance there are many different ideas that can be employed.

I have put the 2nd aileron on a separate channel so that I can have differential (defiantly makes my plane fly better). It was working fine with the APM not connected. I have set it up with the wiki brief.

I tested the 3DR GPS uBlox LEA-6 for high altitude however I discovered something strange.
In the datasheet of the uBlox LEA-6 it’s written that the altitude limitation is at 50'000m so you could use it for ballooning. However I tested it with an AP
I have begun a new project that relates to multi-copters. I have designed a shield for the arduino Due that makes using one for a multi-copter project a bit more convenient (or really almost any robotic type of project). The PCB is current
I was interested in doing my master thesis research in the area of UAV. I wanted to know the topics of reseach in the area of building surveillance using a quadcopter.
I was looking for specific areas of improvement and/or implementation that
I'm currently connecting my APM2.5 to my pc using a usb. When i connect it to the pc using the mission planner the Roll Pitch and Yaw are always waay off from the actual orientation of the board.
I have discovered the values for roll pitch and yaw see
I had a pretty exciting flight on the weekend. My plane with APM2.5 flew most of a circuit in Auto mode correctly, but towards the end it just flew off to sea!
I wanted to monitor the strength of the telemetry link by flying ever increasing loops. Eac
