Hi everyone, here's a noob question! First, some background: I have just completed a build of a RCExplorer style TriCopter, and flashed ArduCopter firmware 3.1.3 on my APM 2.5 flight controller. I ran the Wizard and calibrated compass, gyro sensor, R
Hi,Has anyone been able to successfully install and use the OFS&Sonar combo that 3DR sells?I've managed to update the firmware and focus the link using the ground control software but the next step seem to be to change some boot up script and I have
Hi, can anyone tell me if it's possible to get to location data from the APM matched up to photos pulled from a gopro? At the moment all I really need is my altitude.
Has anyone tried to merge (join) 2 missions? Not sure what I did will work, but this is what I did. Opened Mission 1 in notebook. Opened Mission 2, deleted lines 1 and 2, copied remaining text and pasted below the last line of Mission 1. Lastly, renu
Wanting to switches modes on APM or PX4 is really not intuitive using two switches on your transmitter. You need to have a switch with 3 positions and another with two positions. (2x3=6) modes.
I thought I would design a more "human" or "intuitive" el
Am having trouble with my logs. On avarage I have about 15 corrupt entries (lines) in my data logs when flying for about 7min. I download the logs through mission planner with my quad connected with an usb cable. The quad is running firmware 3.0.1 (a
After installing windows 8 and latest mission planner, I no longer have a terminal tab. How do I get it back so I can download and look at my data logs?
I've had my pixhawk connected to APM Planner 2 in Ubuntu via TCP/IP with no issues. However I just got a different laptop, and I'm trying to connect to Mission Planner over TCP/IP.
When I try, it begins to list parameters ("got param xxxxxxx") and th
Up until today I was blissfully ignorant of the potential problems of using SimonK flashed ESC on larger multicopters with high pole count low kV motors. Maybe others know about this, but I did not. I was browsing the forums and came across
Hi. All. I've seen the prefetch function for Mission Planner. I'm wondering if there is a way I can just download "all the maps I'll ever need" at once and store them in case I need to use them some day. In essence, I'd like to Prefetch maps for a
So which of the many parameters can I adjust for this? I've done the manual and auto tuning. It flies like a dream. Rock solid. But on the ground it will oscillate/wobble until it lifts off.
I was at a multi rotor meet, had just done a auto tune and things were nice and stable. That's when the quad decided it would do a back flip and crash to the ground...
You can see in the logs the throttle, pitch, roll and yaw goes crazy
I'm sure I'm not the only one that caught the Flite Test video a few days ago about "Flite Fest". Is anyone going?? I'm looking into driving 9hours to be there with a carload of RC gear, and would REALLY like to see some Drones!
I have a Pixhawk powered quad here which will slowly yaw clockwise or counterclockwise, depending on the current heading. It seems if the heading is less than 180 degrees, it will yaw anticlockwise, and if it's more than 180 degrees it will yaw clock
So I was test flying the X8 octo today and doing some auto tuning. In the process, it suddenly jerked to the left roll and weaved on pitch. As if it was starting to freak out. In turn caused me to freak out as you might guess. I just did the latest
