Been flying by quad in auto mode doing some ground mapping and on the whole things have been going well, however every now and then the quad goes a bit nuts when attemtping to go to a waypoint, making it circle widely with increasing speed. S
I'm not sure how the on board compass setup is supposed to work on a hex. I connect via 915 M link and every thing looks good except the direction on the flight data screen is always out by alot like 180 degrees. Everything flies good in manual and

I have been using stabilize, wanted to try position hold to see if it will at least stay in my back yard and it wont, it drifts off almost hitting fences and plants.
I know the GPS works well because I fly it waypoints a lot and it works well.
Went to the LEGO store at Disney today and changed out the legs from the thin window frames with 2x2 bricks. This should handle a very solid landing now. Basically this quad is almost one solid frame now since its CA glued together.
I have just got my 3DR kit quad Arducopter with GPS 3DR GPS uBlox LEA-6.
During the assembly process that little GPS board fell a two or three times on my table from the height of the quad frame (I would say 10 to 20 cm high).

One question on the servo cable from PDB to ESC , the red (+) is really supplying 5 volts or is it just there for mechanical purposes ???, sure the black is (-) ok and the signal (s) comes from APM , but not sure if really the PDB uses the + to
