I'm having vibartion problems and i'm going to try to describe this to my best extent. I'm really out of ideias and cant eliminate the vibrations. I'm running 2.9.1 but i would really like to try 3.0 sucessfully( i had vibs.. wasnt successfull).
Thanks to a lot of help from several folks here on this User Group, I recently got my 3DR built Hexa Ardrucopter flying. It has the APM 2.5+ and is running firmware version 2.9.1b. I got the telemetry working and it seems to work really well. Now
I have a goal to fly the arducopter higher than the current tallest structure 829.8 metres and record the flight. I intend on doing this on a calm day but expect winds at high alt. I do not know what speed to expect. Has anyone brought you copter
I've been reading various posts on the Google Code wiki site for Arduino and noted many folk's discussion for the last couple of years the Optical Flow sensor and updates to the firmware code. Everything discussion wise stop in May of this year.
Hi.I have a problem when I'm trying to do a Radio Calibration on my tricopter. Have connected my receiver and the APM, and when I give either roll or pitch input both the pitch and roll bar in Mission Planner move simultanious. It almost seems like p
I just flashed my ESCs with sinonk. Since then when applying generous throttle the quad does not maintain heading and there is significant yaw. Prior to flashing there was no yaw at full throttle. Is this typical? What changes to PID would addres
I have an APM equipped quad in an X configuration. When I fly in stabilize "only" mode all controls respond in a proper way, switching to simple stabilize in "tail in nose out" orientation and pushing the right stick forward makes the craft fly to th
I just finished my conversion from quad to OCTO quad. I installed 10" 4,7 props on top and 11" 4,7 props on bottom. I get a hover at full lbattery at 55% throttle for an AUW of 3.9 Kg (almost 8 pounds).
I have a quad w/ 2.91 -- the APM is mounted using servo tape. All of my motors have insulated mounts. Is there a way to tell if I'm getting bad/any vibration to the APM?
And if so, what is the preferred mounting method of the APM to the frame?
I am interested in using a UAV to generate orthophotos. I'm a GIS/mapping guy and amateur robot-builder. I'm trying to figure out a good entry point (hardware, software) into the world of UAV mapping.
I am building an Arducopter 2.5 kit from DIYDrones. When I first purchased the kit, I ordered the MediaTek GPS unit. When I plugged it in to the APM, the red light came on only very weakly and I never got a signal according to Mission Pla
