I received my APM2 on Friday and I am having an issue with it. Since this board was bought for a new build rather than an existing copter, I have no way of testing it apart from using Mission Planner connected via USB.
I've release a new version with an additional 5 parameters for Arducopter:
Added missing Arducopter parameters stab_d, stab_d_s, acro_p, axis_p, axis_enable for a total of 47 parameters. Compatibility with ACM 2.5.3 and APM 2.3.0
You know how it goes: you find a great page, but forget to bookmark it and cannot find it back! Happened to me recently with a great blog/video, of a project of an UAV that was programmed to analyse video image, select for a huge cloth QR code on the
I am trying to figure out a way to drive stepper motors via my RC Rx. I have been looking at Pololu stepper motor drivers but have gotten nowhere. Has anyone done this before? I just need a place to start.
I am currently working on APM 2.0 to implement Kalman filter using GPS and INS data using 9 by 9 state matrix, [P_x,V_x,Pl_x,P_y,V_y,PI_y,P_z,V_z,PI_z]', where PI_x,PI_y, and PI_z represent platform tilt about x, y, and z axis.
I’m on my first quadcopter build and have managed a successful couple of flights in what I think is Simple mode, but now I’d like to be able to assign different flight modes.
I’ve got a Futaba 8FG 8-Channel 2.4GHz FASST For Helicopter w/R6008HS
I was looking at my telemetry stream and notice some packet drops in MP's console window. I see a number of CRC failed packets as well as 'lost'. That got me wondering--is everyone experiencing similar drops (especially the devs) on a normal scale: 5
I currently have an apm2 with jumper installed for power. Plugging in camera servos per wiki causes esc to not start up and there is no servo movement or power. What is the correct setup to get these servos to work?
I was testing a quad that I scratch built. It has been flying in stabilise mode and responded to the radio inputs, but I had never let it go too far away. This morning I loaded arducopter 2.5.3 before going to test the model.
I've been working for a while to improve the ability of DCM in ArduPilot to accurately track gyro drift while at the same time making it less susceptible to noise. It is a delicate balance, but it is a worthwhile thing to improve as it makes such a b
